Clara (last name not currently known) is Stephen Reyes' first wife. They divorced after Reyes left academia for the FBI. She is currently an assistant department head at the University of Illinois, teaching organic chemistry. She has two (as yet unnamed) daughters "by a well-regarded poet." [1]
