Notes

According to Elizabeth Bear, "Cuckoo" was "one of the episode outlines that came with the series bible". [1]

Writing Credit

"Cuckoo" was originally planned to be written by Will Shetterly and Emma Bull. However, Will resigned from Shadow Unit on March 3, 2009. Until the actual air date, the writing assignment was uncertain. [2]

Elizabeth Bear's announcement of the episode airing on her LiveJournal gave Emma Bull the writing credit, noting that she and Leah Bobet did "a little incidental cleanup work". [3]

The episode "Cuckoo" bears an extremely strong resemblance to the X-Files "spec script" Cuckoo, written by Emma Bull and Will Shetterly.
