The next morning, Chaz Villette tweeted:

Late that night, he posted the following "locked/work" entry to his LiveJournal:

Don't know if I can do this, guys.

But I know I can't not. So I guess I get to. [3]

The obvious inference is that some sort of gamma hunt took place, starting on December 9, and including Chaz flying to Texas.
