Synopsis
Brady arrives at the Hoover building to discover that the WTF's current case involves a gamma who is killing victims with a single, bare-handed blow -- as Reyes says, "Bits of the third victim's ribcage were embedded in the wall behind her." He's killed four victims so far, with the only noticeable link being that they're all practicing Catholics.
Geographic profiling reveals that all four victims lived near to each other, and Brady figures out that they are probably being targeted at bars. At one of the two bars in the area revealed in the geographic profile, the team discovers a bartender, Dyson Cieslewicz, with a suspiciously broken left hand. Their interview is cut short, however, by the discovery of a fifth victim. At that crime scene, Chaz realizes that all five victims were left-handed.
Back at the bar, Dyson reveals that his brother Eddie broke his hand because they were raised to believe that the left hand was evil. When they get to the apartment, however, Eddie is in the basement, where the woodsaws are kept. Despite their best efforts to stop him, he cuts off his own left hand in a surprising display of empathy.
Later, on the plane home, Reyes reveals that 72% of known anomaloids are left-handed.
