Based on Daphne Worth's invitations list for her wedding, his full name is Erik Holt. [5] His date for the wedding was Gail Petoski [6].

His last post was November 14th, 2008[7], and there was speculation that he is dead[8]. He had left "cupcakes and a spinach calzone" [9] at the security desk for Hafidha at 12:30PM on November 17; two and a half hours later, Hafidha posted that she had to "go to the hospital now." [10]

It turns out that he was hit by a car "in a crosswalk in the middle of the afternoon" (the driver fled the scene). Hafidha met Erik's parents, Frederich and Caroline Holt, for the first time at Erik's funeral. [11]
