Peter Pauley

Peter Pauley is a Supervisory Special Agent in the BAU who appears in the opening scenes of "Endgames". He is a 'regular' profiler. He argues with Stephen Reyes over whether the case the episode centers around is anomalous. While he's aware of the actions of Shadow Unit, he's not entirely sold on their beliefs; he has doubts as to whether Hafidha Gates is anything more than a regular technical analyst, although he may be echoing the opinion of an unspecified boss. Reyes outranks him, but convinces him to hand over the case to the ACTF by persuasion rather than protocol.
Pauley was also involved in the Danville Vermont Gamma case. Daphne Worth thinks that he might be "Secretly Hip". [1] Hafidha Gates has nicknamed him Pistol Pete. [2]
Daphne likes Pauley enough to invite him to her wedding. Since his name appears on a line by itself, he is probably single. [3]
