I'm fairly sure that the initial, italicized text in this episode is Cora Marie Pace's point of view. The references to holding the "thing" down seem preclude its being from Daphne's. --BeatriceEagle

- It's got to be Daphne's. The POV is worried about Chaz and dying, neither of which are likely gamma thoughts. Daphne was holding the gamma under water after Chaz tazed it, when what she wanted to be doing was working on Chaz, who was out cold on the floor, not breathing, after the scalp wound and tazing. Daphne was never held under water, so holding the 'thing' down has to be Daphne referring to the gamma. Check the text near the line "How long, to drown a gamma?" - Tamnonlinear 11:23, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
