Template:UnairedBoardlessEpisodeFooter
From Shadow Unit Wiki
The UnairedBoardlessEpisodeFooter template will automatically generate navigation tags for an unaired episode page which doesn't have a corresponding message board, including links to the Wiki pages for the previous and next episodes, and the Category:Episodes tag. For unaired episodes which do have a message board, use the Template:UnairedEpisodeFooter template. For episodes which have already aired, use the Template:EpisodeFooter template.
Usage
To use this template, put the following at the bottom of the episode page:
{{UnairedBoardlessEpisodeFooter|name="Walking Back to Houston"|number=4x01|previous=The Small Dark Movie of Your Life|next=Bulletproof}}
This will result in the following being displayed:

Parameters
- name: The name of the episode. If the {{subst:PAGENAME}} template worked on our site, we wouldn't need this.
- number: The production number of the episode. The name and number parameters are used to generate the title of the navigation box.
- previous: The name of the previous episode. Generates a link to that episode's Wiki page.
- next: The name of the next episode. Generates a link to that episode's Wiki page.
Once A Message Board Exists
Once a message board is created for the episode, it's easy to change the Wiki page from the UnairedBoardlessEpisodeFooter template to the Template:UnairedEpisodeFooter template:
- Change the template name from "UnairedBoardlessEpisodeFooter" to "UnairedEpisodeFooter"
- Add the topic= parameter
