Air Dates
When this episode was first announced, the air date was scheduled to be October 10, 2010. [2] When Elizabeth Bear announced the combined schedule for seasons 3 and 4 on February 1, 2010, the air date for "The Small Dark Movie of Your Life" was listed as June 5, 2011. [3]
On May 24, 2011, Emma Bull announced that the air date for "Small Dark Movie" had moved to June 12-14:
- The season three finale of Shadow Unit, titled "The Small Dark Movie of Your Life," will be broadcast June 12-14. Cause of the one-week delay is officially unknown, but rumors in the European entertainment industry say the show's staff has been seen in Iceland transporting an extremely large quantity of heat-shrink plastic. Pre-Air-Date Speculation
This was the last of the ten episodes added to the message boards on April 9, 2009, and is thus the season finale. However, Elizabeth Bear deliberately did not include the phrase "Season Finale" in the board title (as she did for the Season 2 finale "Not Alone"'s board), in order to "let 'em suffer". [5]
