This page refers to a nickname given to the Anomalous Crimes Task Force. For other uses of WTF, see WTF (disambiguation).

WTF is a term used by the members of the Anomalous Crimes Task Force to refer to the unit. The acronym commonly stands for the phrase "What the Fuck", as an expression of incredulity, and is used in contrast with the normal FBI or BAU, as government organizations are often fond of TLAs.

The name is 'official' enough that Falkner once gave Reyes an FBI-style windbreaker with the letters WTF stenciled on the back [1].
