WTF BBQ
From Shadow Unit Wiki
Since Daphne Worth joined the WTF, the team has held several barbeques at Daniel Brady's home in Woodbridge, Virginia. These barbeques have been the subject of, or mentioned in, a number of DVD extras and LiveJournal entries.

2007
The 2007 WTF BBQ was held on Memorial Day (May 28). Only the WTF agents themselves were present: Daphne, Danny, Chaz Villette, Hafidha Gates, Nicolette Lau, Esther Falkner, Solomon Todd and Stephen Reyes.
It was shown in the DVD extra "The annual WTF BBQ", which aired in multiple parts during Season 1. There were no LiveJournal entries about this barbeque, since neither Daphne nor Chaz started their LiveJournal blogs until September of that year. [1] [2]
2008
The 2008 barbeque was held on the Fourth of July. (The team was in the field over Memorial Day, as recounted in episode 1x08 Refining Fire.) The WTF agents were all present; Daphne invited her then-girlfriend, Tricia Andreoli, and proceeded to feel incredibly awkward because "nobody else brought a date" [3].
There was no DVD extra showing the 2008 barbeque. It was described in LiveJournal posts by Chaz [4] and Daphne [5].
2009
There was no barbeque in 2009. Memorial Day fell shortly after the cases in episodes 2x08 "Not Alone" and 3x01 The Unicorn Evils (which ended up with Hafidha in Idlewood). Gray Putnam, recognizing that the cases had been especially hard on Danny, "had insisted on hauling him off to play with boats that Memorial Day weekend because Gray could smell the screwed-upness all over him." [6]
2010
The 2010 barbeque was held on Memorial Day (May 31). Hafidha remained at Idlewood, but the rest of the WTF agents were present. In addition, many friends and family members attended:
- Chaz's girlfriend Martina Alcantar
- Daphne's wife Tricia and their rabbit Tiger
- Danny's boyfriend Gray
- Esther's husband Ben and their daughters Rebekah and Deborah
- Sol's "maenad" Mehitabel Percy
Neither Nikki nor Reyes brought dates.
The 2010 barbeque was the subject of the DVD extra "Meet the Family" (WTF BBQ II: Boogaloo Unplugged). Chaz mentioned it in a LiveJournal entry [7].
