Biography
Born in Pennsylvania [4] [5], Daphne Worth is the daughter of John Worth, an electrical engineer [6] with whom she's on rather awkward terms [7]. Her mother died when she was 13 [8] [9], and her older brother Kenny died when she was 16 [10].
While in college she was engaged to a man named Peter. The relationship ended after she discovered he was cheating [11].
Daphne became an EMT to see if she could make it as a doctor, then stayed [12]. While on the job, she had a run-in with a gamma who killed two of her coworkers, which led her to seek out the WTF [13].
Currently, her social circle includes Chaz and Hafidha, her best friends; and Tricia, her fiancee [14]. Daphne and Tricia were married September 6, 2008. [15] [16]

Chaz got Daphne into climbing. There is a picture of her on a wall in her livejournal. And another in Chaz's. And even more in Chaz's old LJ.
Daphne doesn't like carrying a firearm, but accepts it as part of the job.[18]
She was killed in the line of duty during the Season 3 finale, "The Small Dark Movie of Your Life" while trying to take James Singh into custody [19] [20]. Five of her organs (heart, liver, both kidneys and pancreas) were donated, as was shown in the DVD extra "Donation". The final entry in her LiveJournal was made by her wife Tricia, asking people to make donations to My Sister's Place.
